Privacy policy

WePlayCoins is a free reference site. There are no accounts and we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details.

Advertising

WePlayCoins is paid for by advertising from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, to measure them and, if you allow it, to base them on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits.

You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown.

Everything else stays on our domain

Apart from the advertising code, every file this site uses, including fonts, scripts, styles and images, is served from our own domain. We do not run analytics or tracking scripts of our own. Links to other websites are set not to pass on the page you came from.

Metal prices

The calculators fill in today's metal spot prices for you. Our own server fetches silver, gold, platinum and copper prices from a free market data service every morning at 9 AM US Eastern time and your browser then reads them from our domain. Your browser never contacts that service. No information about you or your visit is sent to it. Nickel and zinc prices are estimates that we update every week.

Terms

Use of the site is also covered by our terms of use.

Local storage

Your light/dark theme preference and any coins you tick in the collection tracker are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. A backup you download from the tracker is a file on your own device. Today's metal prices are kept in your browser tab for half an hour so pages load faster. Coin flip statistics stay in your browser tab and are never sent to us.
